A: Thanks for inviting me to your home, Ms. Campbell. After I see the space in person, I can start creating the designs for your renovations. What did you have in mind?

A: Well, in a lot of cases, the wall color matters much less than the lighting. Lighting can make a huge difference.

B: Hi, Ms. Jones. I’m afraid we haven’t finished the repairs yet. We found a serious problem with the engine, and we need to order some parts. Tony, how long will that take?

B: 안녕하세요, Jones 씨. 아직 수리 작업이 완료되지 않은 것 같습니다. 엔진에서 심각한 문제를 발견했는데, 부품을 주문해야 합니다. Tony, 그게 얼마나 걸리는 거죠? 

B: Hello, Ms. Jones. I think that the repair work isn't completed yet. We found a serious problem in the engine, so we need to order parts. Tony, how long it will take?

 

C: It should only take a day or two. We ordered the items yesterday for you.

C: 하루나 이틀 정도 밖에 걸리지 않을 겁니다. 어제 그 물품들을 주문했어요. 

C: Maybe, it will take a day or two. I orderd the items yesterday.

 

A: That’s not good. I really need my car back as soon as possible. It takes me so long to commute by bus every day.

A: 그러면 안되는데요. 저는 가능한 한 빨리 차량을 꼭 되돌려 받고 싶어요. 매일 버스로 통근하는 게 시간이 너무 오래 걸려요. 

A: It shouldn't be that. I need to get back my car as soon as possible. It takes so long time for me to commute by bus everyday.

 

B: We’re sorry, Ms. Jones, but this repair work is really necessary.

B: 죄송합니다, Jones 씨, 하지만 이 수리 작업은 정말로 필요한 일입니다. 

B: Sorry, Ms. Jones, but this repair work is really necessary.

 

C: That’s right. It wouldn’t be safe to drive the vehicle in its current state.

A: I understand, and I appreciate your help. I just hope it doesn’t all cost too much. I don’t get paid until the end of the month.
