A: Welcome back from the commercial break. We are still here with Dr. Hank Monroe, an expert in effective workplace communication. We were just discussing how to help recent hires adjust to their new work environment.

B: Yes. As I were saying, it's important to let employess play a role as a mentor. This will also establish responsibility to your employees.

 

A: That’s a great idea. And I hear you will also be teaching a course on this subject at Dillard University. Are you looking forward to that?

A: 좋은 생각입니다. 그리고 이 주제에 관해 Dillard University에서 수업도 가르칠 예정이신 것으로 알고 있습니다. 그 수업이 기대되시나요? 

A: It's a good idea. And I knew you were planning to teach of this theme at Dillard University. Do you expect that class?

 

B: Well, it’ll be a new experience for me. Teaching is much different from running a business. However, I expect I’ll be able to adapt to the role with some practice.

B: 음, 저에게는 새로운 경험이 될 것입니다. 수업을 한다는 것은 기업을 운영하는 것과는 많이 다릅니다. 하지만 연습을 하면 새로운 역할에 적응할 수 있을 것이라 예상합니다.

B: Hmm, it'll be a new expierence to me. Teaching is not the same with managing a company. But I think I can make a deal with the new role through some practice.

A: Hello, Mr. Logan. I’m calling from the Redmond Clinic. Since we’ve just launched our online reservation system, we’re double-checking the appointments.

A: 안녕하세요, Logan 씨. Redmond 병원에서 전화드렸습니다. 저희가 온라인 예약 시스템을 막 런칭해서, 예약을 재확인하려고요.

A: Hello, Mr. Logan. I'm calling you from the Redmond hospital. We've just launched the reservation system, so I'm going to check your appointment.

 

B: OK. Is this about my Friday appointment?

B: 알겠어요. 제 금요일 예약에 대한 건가요?

B: Okay. Is it about my Friday appointment?

 

A: Yes, you’re booked in with Dr. Lindsay at two o’clock on July 10.

A: 네, 고객님께서는 7월 10일 2시에 Lindsay 박사님께  예약되어 있으세요.

A: Yes, you booked to Dr. Lindsay at two PM July tenth.

 

B: Oh, that’s the time I wanted, but I thought I had chosen Dr. Estrada. I must have clicked on the wrong button. Should I go back and change it myself?

B: 아, 시간은 제가 원했던 게 맞는데요, 전 Estrada 박사님을 선택한 줄 알았어요. 분명 제가 버튼을 잘못 클릭했을 거예요. 제가 다시 그걸 직접 변경할까요?

B: Oh, the time is that I wanted, but I knew I choose Dr. Estrada. I clicked wrong definitely. Should I change it by myself?

 

A: I can take care of it for you. Dr. Estrada is available at the same time, so I’ll just update your appointment.

A: 제가 고객님을 위해 그 일을 처리해 드릴게요. Estrada 박사님이 같은 시간대에 가능하시니, 바로 고객님 예약을 업데이트해 드리겠습니다.

A: I will handle it for you. Dr. Estrada have a time at the same time, therefore I will update your reservation.
